The relationship between coach and client is a two way co-creative process, we are equals and both have an active role. Coaching is an individual experience and can follow different paths. What matters is what works for you. As a coach I operate from the presupposition that you have the potential, abilities and talents to achieve any dream and to become the best you can possibly be. I commit to coaching you to the best of my abilities, keep you focused, encourage, support and inspire you throughout the coaching process. I will listen to what you say and respond using my intuition and by asking challenging questions to stretch your thinking. Your
role is to come to
the session centered and ready to engage. To suspend judgment, be open and curious
and trust the coaching process. To give
me feedback about what
works and what doesn't, what feels difficult and what is easy, and where do you
feel you are in relation to where you want to be. We will agree upon actions to be taken by you between sessions. Taking action is the key to transformation. By following through on your action steps, you're strengthening your commitment and ensuring your success. Should any self-sabotaging behavior arise that prevents you from moving towards your chosen outcome, such as consistently not taking the action agreed, I will help you reflect on what is going on, and we will work out the best way to overcome what is blocking your progress. Sessions can be either in person, over the phone or via skype, so location is not an issue. I am not a therapist, counselor or consultant and I will suggest an alternative route to coaching when the scope of the coaching relationship appears to have been exceeded. ~ ~ ~ "The secret of health for both mind and body is not to mourn for the past, worry about the future or anticipate troubles, but to live in the present moment wisely and earnestly." ~ Buddha |
